Barbershop Jack

This was a piece I attempt to design for a client on 99designs.com. The client owned a barbershop and wanted a classic design with a new age twist. After doing some research I noticed that most Barbershop logos contain scissors, a comb, straight razor, or a barbershop pole. I really wanted t take advantage of a different item that is used in the field. I based my logo around the shaving cream brush. I felt that the brush would translate well be into a minimalist logo.
